Xuechen (Sally) Liu is pursuing a PhD in the Learning Technologies program at the University of Michigan’s School of Education. As a teacher of both Chinese and English at K-12 schools in the United States, China, and Japan, she has a passion for creating inclusive learning environments where students can bring their unique linguistic and cultural backgrounds to the classroom. Her current research interests center on the potential of AI-powered conversational agents to enhance bilingual children's language and literacy development. She previously served as a volunteer writing content and advising development for Everstory.
