Jianjun (Larry) Zhu
Before he came to the University of Michigan, Larry was an English teacher in a local high school in China for eight years. As a teacher, he was awarded “the Teacher of the Year” award from the school multiple times. He started his master’s study at the Marsal Family School of Education in August, 2023, majoring in Educational Studies with the concentration of Design and Technologies for Learning across Culture and Contexts. At the same time, he also participated in (and has graduated from) the Learning Experience Design Graduate Certificate Program offered by the University of Michigan. Larry is now engaged in the PhD program at the Marsal Family School of Education. Larry’s career passion lies in the intersection of teaching and learning and how the practice of teaching and learning can be improved through well-designed programs and technologies. Larry served as a volunteer for Everstory’s content team.
